A minimum of 17 overs were yet to be bowled in the day when Pakistan declared at 4-476, but poor light saw the umpires call stumps after just one over of Australia’s first innings.

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was about to bowl the first over of Australia’s innings when the umpires intervened and deemed that Pakistan could only bowl spin due to the fading light.

That led to Sajid Khan opening for the hosts, but soon after it was decided that the light was even too poor for spin to be bowled.

Khawaja reached stumps on five, and Warner is yet to get off the mark.
