Following the suspension of PSL 5 because of a lack of funding, the PCB has decided to move the event to the UAE. The move came after seven cricketers tested positive for the banned Covid-19. The cricket board said the decision was taken for the health of all participants. This was a major blow for the players. Now, PSL 6 is on its way to start on June 1 with matches at the National Stadium, Karachi.

The tournament was suspended after just 14 games, due to the outbreak of Covid-19. After the initial suspension, the competition will resume on 9 June in Abu Dhabi. In addition, the PSL will be the first to use zero-tolerance bio-security protocol. For the PSL 6, the PCB has enacted new policies and procedures to ensure the safety of its fans. Among other things, the PCB has also launched a Hall of Fame to honor players who have contributed to the game.

The PSL is currently postponed until June, and the next scheduled match is June 1. There will be 20 matches in the tournament, with the final being played on June 24. The PSL Board has released a schedule for the remaining 20 matches. The virus caused the postponement of the event. According to reports, seven players tested positive for the virus, which is a bacterium. The PCB will take immediate action if any of the PSL franchises is affected.
